The location was great. i could walk to many restaurants nearby and that was very convenient. the apartment had a kitchen. This made preparing snacks very easy!!!
the sound isolation was poor, so i could hear other guests talking.

the apartment was spacious for the price and the service was good. its location is near bus stops and supermarkets. museums were also easily accessible (i really liked the modern art museum). i found the staff friendly.
the room wasn't cleaned to my highest standards, yet it was still acceptable.

Adequate Stay in Central Location
central location compact facilities functional cooking noisy fan uncomfortable bed inadequate cleaning
the location was very central. the municipal gardens were a short walk away. the cooking facilities were compact, yet functional for experimenting with local produce from the market. good restaurants were also nearby for dining out.
there was no air conditioning, just a noisy fan. i didn't sleep well due to the uncomfortable bed. the cleaning in the room seemed inadequate with stains on the walls from prior guests.

Unfortunately, there is no free parking in the center of Funchal. The aparthotel offers parking for €7.50 per day. Mattress comfort varies by individual preference. If I rent a car, can I park it at the aparthotel, and do I need to reserve a spot?
